Secret Asian Man comic strip get syndicated!
United Features Syndicate (Peanuts, Dilbert, Boondocks) has signed Tak Toyoshima's Secret Asian Man as its newest feature for daily syndication. This will make Secret Asian Man the very first daily American comic strip featuring an Asian lead character. And to top it all off, the official launch date is Monday, May 7, 2007. Just in time for Asian American month.
Secret Asian Man is a comic strip that explores the complex issues of race as well as gender, religion, sexual orientation, immigration, adoption and marginalization. It is a strip about the minority experience and a celebration of diversity.
If you wish to support the comic strip, please write your local daily paper and let them know you want to see SAM in your paper. Despite popular belief, editors do pay attention to their readers!
