Harold Lee and Kumar Patel return to the big screen

The Asian American duo of Harold Lee and Kumar Patel return to the big screen on April 25, 2008 in Harold & Kumar Escape from Guantanamo Bay.

In the 2004 surprise hit, Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle, the pair encountered a series of hilarious adventures on their way to a White Castle restaurant in New Jersey. But this time, around Harold and Kumar are detained on their way to Amsterdam to find Harold's dream girl Maria.

Apprehended by a racist Homeland Security agent played by Rob Corddry, the duo are sentenced to the infamous Guantanamo Bay prison, from which they escape and embark on a wild cross-country chase to stop Kumar's ex-girlfriend from getting married. Along the way, the pair meet up with an assortment of zany characters, including the return of Neil Patrick Harris as Neil Patrick Harris.

For fans of the first film, Harold and Kumar Escape From Guantanamo Bay picks up right where the first film left off. Not only does it provide gut-busting laughs, but the directors have made a film filled with sly commentary on sex, race, drugs and culture in America.
