Hello
My newest obsession is a fabulous trench coat. And, late summer nights are the perfect reason to wear them. There are so many trench styles I have been coveting that I don’t know which to choose!

Here are a few of the ones I want to buy

Now that summer is here I can’t wait to wear my micro mini’s out. However, in the past I have been accused of being too showy with my wardrobe. After the continuous comments, I am getting self conscious. What’s a girl to do if she just wants to bring out her inner child but not look sleazy while doing so?

Hi
Tights are the best accessory to solve that dilemma! You can wear a sk (so short you can’t even call it a skirt) with a pair of tights, and you will look chic without sleaze! Here are 2 examples tights completely change the look of a short dress.

  • Dear Tina,
I’m smaller and skinny than other woman.
When I go to a shopping mall, I always disappointed.
Because, all the coats I’d like to buy are too long to me.
(Especially, sleeves and part of waist are too long.)

Could you tell me shopping tips or the best shopping place for asian women in NYC?

  • July,
I totally understand your frustration! Most clothing designers (even in NYC) use fit models to create the standard sizes of their clothing, and they err toward the problem you have as its easier to tailor to make shorter than it is to make anything longer.
There are a few cute stores in NYC where its made for small people. Try Albertine or Claudine in the West Village (on Christopher street). And, try the indie boutiques in Nolita (south of Houston, on Mulberry, Mott or Elizabeth) Streets.
Good Luck on the fun hunt!
