The Second Annual Asian MBA Leadership Conference and Career Expo is to be held at the Jacob Javits Convention Center in New York City from August 26th to the 28th with the theme, “Connect, Engage, Inspire.” This year’s Conference will be especially important, as it will announce the launch of the National Association of Asian MBAs (NAAMBA), a non-profit organization created to promote Asian American presence in the corporate landscape.

The three day event will be jam-packed with panel discussions and workshops for career acquisition and development, led by prominent CEOs and career coaches. Attendees will also have the chance to network with thousands of professionals and senior level executives from Fortune 500 corporations such as Aetna, Gilead, IBM, McDonald, PepsiCo, Prudential, Target; and government agencies, such as the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and the U.S. Department of Labor, among others. The expected number of participation is double that of the successful inaugural event that drew in 120 sponsoring companies and 2,000 attendees.

The Career Expo offers recruitment opportunities to experienced business professionals as well as to MBAs. “The primary focus of our Leadership Conference is to bring together corporate recruiters, MBA job candidates and experienced business professionals to embrace the career potential that Asian Americans provide to the workforce,” commented Jino Ahn, the Founder and President of Asian Diversity Inc., the organization spearheading the event.

This year’s Asian MBA Leadership Conference features the Global Diversity Forum, which includes the Jobs in Asia Pavilion that helps job seekers find opportunities, not only in the U.S., but in Asia, as well as the Global Executive and Global Human Capital Summits that invite executives from around the world to network with each other and to recruit American educated talents.
