Chanel Iman backstage Spring 09 Collections

We’re getting ready for Fashion Week and are hoping to run into Chanel Iman, a fashion model on the rise to supermodel. Here she is backstage at Erin Fetherston’s show last season. 19 year old Chanel is of African American and Korean heritage and has walked the runways for Ralph Lauren, Anna Sui, Diane von Fürstenberg and Vera Wang among many others.

In the May 2007 issue of US Vogue she was featured on the cover with fellow models Doutzen Kroes, Caroline Trentini, Raquel Zimmermann, Sasha Pivovarova, Agyness Deyn, Coco Rocha, Jessica Stam, Hilary Rhoda and Lily Donaldson as the new crop of supermodels.
