Three Vietnamese entrepreneurs who have lived in the U.S. for decades, moved back home and started new business ventures in a Vietnam much more prosperous than the one they left.

The Vietnamese government is encouraging them to start up businesses and buy real estate to power the economy. It’s also stepping up efforts to attract foreign companies. U.S. companies including Intel and General Electric have already established a presence here, and others are exploring the possibility, attracted partly by Vietnam’s highly educated, skilled and young population (a quarter of residents are under 15).
