British Indian actress Archie Panjabi has won her first Emmy award at the 62nd annual Primetime Emmy Awards in Los Angeles.

Archana Kaur Punjabi has won the award for Best Supporting Actress in the movie called ‘The Good Wife’. The actress has perfectly displayed the role of a bisexual private investigator named Kalinda Sharma.

She has beaten Mad Men’s Christina Hendricks and Elisabeth Moss, Rose Byrne of Damages and Sharon Gless from the Burn Notice in the race.
