The First Annual Asian American & Pacific Islander Rock the Vote will

The First Annual Asian American & Pacific Islander Rock the Vote will take place on TONIGHT, September 17th, 2010 at the Ford Amphitheatre in Hollywood, CA! The event is from 6pm – 11pm and includes special guests and performers such as Quest Crew, Satellite, Dawen, Esna Yoon, Kelly Hu, Beau Sia, Lisa Ling, Laura Ling, Archie Kao, James Kyson Lee, Justin Chon, C.S. Lee and more.

This event, sponsored by AOF, APALS, APEX, APIAVote, CAUSE, Declare Yourself, Disgrasian, Giant Robot, Kollaboration, Rock the Vote, IALI, NAAAP, PNG, and LiNK, is an effort to mobilize young Asian Americans to vote and get involved by challenging them to “be a part of the solution, not a part of the problem. If we don’t vote, we don’t count.”

Tickets are only $9 and can be purchased online on the Ford Amphitheatre website. Doors open at 6PM, meet and greet begins at 6:30PM and the show begins at 7:45PM! This is a great way to not only enjoy great performers, but also motivate yourself to be informed as we head into another election season!
