Ann Harada, who memorably created the role of Christmas Eve in the
Ann Harada, who memorably created the role of Christmas Eve in the Tony-winning Avenue Q, will play the Witch in an upcoming concert version of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine’s “Into the Woods” to benefit The National Asian American Theatre Company (NAATCO).
Directed by Alan Muraoka, the Oct. 11 performance will be held in the Engelman Recital Hall at the Baruch Performing Arts Center.
The cast will also boast Jose Llana, Telly Leung, Jason Ma, Orville Mendoza, Manu Narayan, Olivia Oguma, Eileen Rivera, Anne Fraser Thomas and Virginia Wing. Musical director Kary Haddad will accompany the artists.
The evening will begin at 6 PM with a cocktail reception followed by the 7 PM concert.
