Michelle Wie has skipped the last two LPGA tournaments as she gets back into her schoolwork at Stanford. But she will be playing again on the LPGA’s Asian swing.

Sime Darby LPGA Malaysia have announced that Wie is confirmed in their event’s final field. The tournament takes place Oct. 22-24 in Kuala Lumpur.

Nine of of the top 10 players on the current Rolex Rankings – Ai Miyazato, Cristie Kerr, Jiyai Shin, Suzann Pettersen, Yani Tseng, Na Yeon Choi, Michelle Wie, In Kyung Kim and Song-Hee Kim – have confirmed their participation, according to tournament officials.
