Actor Daniel Dae Kim, currently starring in Hawaii Five-O was in San Diego last night, to receive an award at the San Diego Asian Film Festival.
Kim was awarded the “Influential Asian American Artist” award, for his work in back-to-back hit television series; first in Lost, and now in Hawaii Five-O.
Kim says he’s humbled and flattered to be receiving the award at tonight’s Gala Awards dinner.
The 11th annual festival kicked off this past Thursday, and runs through October 28th at Mission Valley Ultrastar Cinemas.
More than 150 films from 20 countries are premiering, everything from comedy, action, drama, documentary and animation.
