Utada says no to Disney for Kingdom Hearts III

In an interview with JETAANY JQ Magazine Utada explains why she won’t be working on Kingdom Hearts III.

Are you going to be involved in the soundtrack for Kingdom Hearts III?
I don’t think so, I don’t know.

Probably not.
Mr. Utada: We said no to Disney.

Ohh…
You turned down Disney?

Mr. Utada: Yeah. Because they don’t pay.

"Kingdom Hearts" is an album by Hikaru Utada promoting the video game Kingdom Hearts featuring songs that were used in Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts II such as "Simple and Clean"

That’s right. Hold out for more money. Lord knows they would be making tons of money off you!
