From boxing star to movie star

The movie “Wapakman” starring Manny Pacquiao, Dave Batista, and Nicole Scherzinger and directed by Topel Lee had the internet buzzing the last few days.

Wapakman is a sci-fi, comedy kung-fu movie. Pacquiao plays the main character who develops super powers to fight his arch nemesis played by Batista.

The film begins shooting in July and will be showing at the Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) which that will open on January 1, 2010.
