Miss India Nicole Faria is the winner of Miss Earth 2010, unveiled Saturday in Vietnam.

The stunning Indian model, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Slumdog Millionaire star Freida Pinto (it’s pretty scary) won over the judges with her beauty, grace and intelligence.

Given a tough question on whether she would save the air or the water first during the Q&A session, the 20-year-old undergraduate thoughtfully said, “Both elements are important to us. But given the choice, I would save water from being polluted for the children.”

Nicole had also put her bellydancing skills to good use in the earlier round to raise fund for the Ho Chi Minh City Red Cross.

Miss Earth is an annual international beauty pageant promoting environmental awareness.
