Rain’s agency announced that he has reunited with producer Park Jin-young (JYP Entertainment).
Rain disclosed on his homepage that “he has only made a strategic alliance (with Park Jin-young) to maximize synergy and has not rejoined JYP.”
When asked the reason for this alliance, Rain explained that “he thought it would be meaningful to make closure with big brother Jin-young, before joining the army, since he had debuted as ‘Rain’ after meeting Jin-young ten years.”
Rain also added that “he did have any authority or stake in J. Tune Entertainment and was only a related entertainer” when asked about the controversy regarding J. Tune Entertainment.
At the end of his speech, he expressed his ambitions and gratitude, saying “that he is full of expectations and excitement for 2011 as he will turn 30 next year.”
On the 27th, J. Tune Entertainment issued new stocks. JYP Entertainment, the largest shareholder being Park Jin-young, accounted for 2,397,000 shares and 1,348,314 shares for Park himself. This signifies that JYP Entertainment and Park have become the largest shareholders in J. Tune Entertainment and that J. Tune Entertainment has become listed on the KOSDAQ.
