I had a good friend say to me recently, “You always have such nice outfits on and do your makeup so nicely, why don’t you do anything to your hair?”

Obviously this was a good friend commenting on my hair, and I admittedly acknowledged, I never think about my hair. I believe in the low maintenance Wash N Wear when it comes to my hair. But, my friend had a point. Why don’t I put on the last finishing touch with my hair? I am a jewelry designer afterall; I should care about the details.

This lead me to my newest project which I want to share. It took me so little time to create a little hair accessory that makes my hair look like I spent time on it.

HAIR ACCESSORIES! You will see them all over the fall fashions, but why search all over the stores for what you need when you can make it yourself.

WHERE: Go to any fabric store. Find ribbon, or premade feather clusters, or sequined patches.

WHAT: All you need is a glue gun to make it! You can purchase a glue gun at any craft store or home depot.

HOW: Just glue what you find from the fabric store to pre-owned headbands, hair clips or barrettes.

I literally made myself 4 different hair accessories in 15 minutes once I had all the above parts. Happy Hair and Happy Crafting.
