An apartment on Manhattan’s Upper West Side – Before & After
This is a project on 72nd Street of the Upper West Side 72 which is close to Central Park in Manhattan.
The client is a successful media consultant, well-traveled, sophisticated, art collector and fond of art-deco/ mid-century furniture.
The challenge of interior design in an old building in Manhattan is to create more storage space, more closets, and the bathroom and kitchen are usually not very big. Sometimes I wish I could be a magician liked David Copperfield so I could ‘create’ more square footage in every project I work on.
After a couple of months working on the space planning and furniture, we started the renovation.
