Hugh Jackman joins Li Bingbing and Jeon Ji-Hyun in Wayne Wang film

Stage and screen star Hugh Jackman has joined the cast of Wayne Wang’s new movie Snow Flower and the Secret Fan, according to The Hollywood Reporter. The film, based on the novel of the same name by Lisa See, is currently filming in China.

Snow Flower revolves around the lifelong friendship of two women and their imprisonment by rigid cultural norms. The cast will also feature Chinese actress Li Bingbing (above) and South Korean actress Jeon Ji-Hyun.
