Freida cast in War of the Gods

Freida Pinto was just cast in Tarsem’s upcoming epic War of the Gods.

She will play Phaedra, “an oracle priestess who must join Theseus — played by Henry Cavill (The Tudors) — on his quest to prevent the cataclysmic war from erupting.” The story “follows a young warrior Theseus who leads his men into battle with the immortal Greek gods to defeat evil and the powerful elder gods of the Titans in order to save mankind.”

Frieda Pinto will star in Woody Allen’s You Will Meet A Tall Dark Stranger and Julian Schnabel’s Miral, both seeing a release this year.
