Michelle Wie battled back after a tough first round at the LPGA’s first major of the season, yesterday.
Wie shot 5-under par in the second round of the Kraft Nabisco Open, carding six birdies and one bogey. That brought her to 3-under for the tournament.
On Thursday, Wie squeaked out a birdie and three bogeys.
The Hawaii golfer is six strokes off the leader, Stacy Lewis, who strung together rounds of 66 and 69.
Wie’s best finish in an LPGA major was second at the 2005 McDonald’s LPGA Championship.
I know she is going to win this!
