Eyelashes Give Nod to Traditional Chinese Paper-cutting
Designer, Ting Yu Wang, has created paper eyelashes inspired by the art of Chinese paper cutting.
London-based company Paperself has produced the artful paper eyelashes that fuse traditional culture with a modern twist. Each of the three styles is symbolic in the Chinese culture. There’s the horse for success, peonies for happiness and good fortune and peach blossom for love. If a full set of lashes is too lavish, try the half lashes on the corners of the eye. Both will have you fluttering with delight. Who knew paper could be so sexy?
Eyelashes are available at Urban Outfitters.
