Jason Wu Launching TSE Collection at Harrods

Designer, Jason Wu, is set to launch his capsule collection of luxurious knits for legendary knitwear brand, TSE, at Harrods later this month.

In an interview with Harper’s Bazzar UK, Wu said that Robert Ryman’s minimalist paintings were his inspiration for the fall collection.

“I designed [it] not merely as a counterpart to my own, but for the opportunity to contribute to TSE’s compelling design heritage and its innovative approach to cashmere,” said Wu.

The collection boasts modern simplicity with timeless silhouettes. Monochrome is seen alongside bold strokes of color topped off with unique detailing.

“TSE’s legacy is about that great cashmere sweater and I wanted to expand on that – make a great tailored jacket, dress, and really bring it all back together. It was about pushing myself as a designer, and the knitwear material to that next level. I wanted to highlight the material instead of just being a knit-only collection,” said Wu for Harper’s.
