Christmas Reflection
Think about what you have, really think about it.
Sight…or you would not be reading this.
Wealth at some level…or you would not own a computer to read this.
Health…or you surely would not be reading this.
Think about the meal you had last night vs how many children in third world
countries went hungry…again. Think about that cup of $5 coffee you drank
half of before tossing in the trash vs people in under developed nations
waiting for it to rain to quench their thirst. Think about the people that
really love you even through fights, disagreements and difficult times vs
your family members and friends who are out there in the world all alone.
Think about that warm clean bed you slept on last night vs countless teens
who are without parents or mentors, crammed into dangerous gang infested
shelters and half way homes. Think about that cranky boss who gets on your
absolute last nerve vs your out of work neighbors who cannot make their
mortgage payments again. Life is not so bad when you look at what you do
have…right?
My motto is that “the glass is ALWAYS HALF FULL” never half empty.
