This line is great for all of the Asian Princesses out there. Especially the Japanese ones!
You completely have an Asian fetish. Do NOT deny!
He does have an Asian festish! He should just admit it. We’ll love him for it.
He is not good looking but because he is white, he thinks all of us would want him. Not the case.
I’m genuinely confused by your post. Where in his article does he state, or so much as imply, what you are alleging? The point I got from his editorial was that his preference toward asian women is something he was born with; just like we were born attracted to the opposite gender. I think it’s unfair to fault someone for a rather innocent attraction, and even more unfair for you to make baseless accusations.
-An asian girl who likes asian guys AND white guys, and is proud of it; no ‘fetishes’ attached.
Why isn’t he into white girls with straight black hair then? It’s an ASIANNNNN FETISH! White girls prob won’t date him.
So as Asian women, we’re only defined by our straight black hair? Wow, you don’t have a lot of pride in yourself, do you?
ah nooooo..Read between the lines honey. He’s not going to come right out and say that he’s attracted to us because of our looks and slanty eyes. He’s going to try and butter us up and make us feel worthy in order to get down our pants. Straight up.
I saw what you look like on the street and you are not cute!
I have spent many years researching this phenomenon (informally, in my own time) since it applies to me too. Why are white men who are attracted to Asian women universally vilified and slandered? One conclusion that I have come to is that when you are defined in the public eye by a characteristic that you can’t change, in this case your orientation, and if the sum of all individuals who fit that definition hold little or no power or influence over the public, then it is natural both that the public will attempt to extinguish you for being different (group competition) and embrace your diversity (varied choice). The reason why there is none of the latter in this case is that, perhaps out of sheer myopic ignorance, most people exclude whites from the mere concept of diversity. So I believe what this comes down to is precisely as you said, a general lack of understanding.
I hope that in the future, more people will come to understand this. It is especially disheartening that the dehumanizing preconceptions are most stringently held and espoused by Asian women (mostly American-Asian women). Fortunately, in places like Hong Kong, women are generally not so offended by it (in my experience).
Samantha:
“He is not good looking but because he is white”
You go on to accuse him of being a closet racist after saying this. You hypocrite!
I love Hello Kitty! I remember when I would get all excited to receive the Hello Kitty school supplies from my parents. I love Kittens and would often imitate a cat when I was little so my parents thought Hello Kitty would be really cute. Now they have a full-blown makeup line at Sephora! Cool.

I’m a white guy, and I don’t try to justify or rationalize my love of Asian women by writing lengthy articles such as this one. I just love Asian women, they’re damn hot to me. Asian is sexy, I’ll admit it. Come on, buck up, author, you pussy.
Hi Jay Parks,
I wanted to thank you for writing your article (the one you wrote 5 years ago) explaining your attraction to Asian American women.
I’m Caucasian and I’ve always been more attracted to women of color my entire life. But, then, I moved to San Francisco. A number of really beautiful and amazing Asian American women came into my life. I find myself overwhelmingly attracted to Asian American women now. Primarily.
I’ve been trying to wrap my head around it. I’ve been feeling guilty about it. I didn’t know how to process what I was feeling.
But, you’re article summed it up for me. I don’t know where my attraction came from. But, I don’t want the attraction to go away.
I love being attracted to Asian American women. They’re so beautiful and amazing (the ones I’m friends with at least). I hope when I get married that my wife is Asian American and as amazing as the women that are currently in my life. I guess it is what it is.
