150 S’porean students returning from Cairo
About 150 Singaporean students from the Al Azhar University are returning from Cairo.
The Islamic Religious Council of Singapore, MUIS, assured the public that it will do its best to assist the students caught amidst the escalating unrest in Egypt.
Parents wishing to enquire about their children’s welfare may call MUIS at 6258-1502.
The first batch of five students from Al Azhar University arrived home safely on Monday. They will be followed by five more female students who are already on their way home via Dubai. MUIS said it has secured travel arrangements for 60 students, adding that it will bring all 150 back soon.
