“THAT SHOW RULED!!” Taylor Swift speaks of Singapore
Taylor Swift is definitely not like any other singing sensation. While there are some on the international music scene blissfully unaware of a little island called Singapore, and others who find it too small to include it as a tour stop, the American chose Singapore to kick off her world tour.
Was it worth it for the fans, and the star herself? A big Yea! judging by the turn-out and Swift’s tweets. “Good times” was how she described on Twitter of her sold-out concert held at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on 9 February, that was all glitz and glamour.
The award-winning artist combined talent with flashy dress changes and extravagant stage and visual effects in the first of a planned 87 shows worldwide. Having performed since she was an 11-year-old and more recently, at major award shows from The Grammy Awards to Video Music Awards, Swift made the 90 minutes seem effortless with a song set of 13 (her lucky, favourite number). There were clear personal touches to the show.
It amazes me that this girl doesn’t have any trouble getting boyfriends! Everytime she breaks up with someone, she spills the beans in a hit song! More power to her but the guys can’t be too happy about it. Although, actors are narcissists for the most part. I guess they enjoy the free publicity, even if it is bad.
I write about my experiences but you really have to read in between the lines! I keep most things in my personal life private.
