“The Noose” returns w expanded cast and outrageous skits
The fourth season of top-rated Singapore comedy programme “The Noose” will return in March for a 13-episode fourth season with two new cast members, thespian Judee Tan and comedy actor Vasu. “The Noose”, which features outrageous comedy skits that parody Singapore news reports, will be Tan’s first foray into comedy television.
“It’s been very exciting! It is a whole different medium and a whole different kind of environment,” Tan gushed during the special preview session for the new season of “The Noose”.
Tan will play a slew of hilarious characters in the new season of “The Noose” including Hong Kong correspondent Rose Pok and Kim Bong Cha, an uptight North Korean news correspondent who has a crush on North Korean leader Kim Jong Il’s son. Her co-star Vasu, who had previously appeared in “Just for Laughs Asia”, will, like Tan, play various international correspondents, as well as Robert Selvarajoo, a business reporter who has no idea what he is saying.
