Well, AR Rahman, after winning two nominations at the Annual Academy Awards

Well, AR Rahman, after winning two nominations at the Annual Academy Awards this year, has now been nominated for the World Soundtrack Awards in the Best Original Song Written Directly For A Film category for “If I Rise”… in Danny Boyle’s 127 Hours.

The event will be held at Ghent, Belgium on October 22. The work of the Boyle-Rahman duo in 127 Hours, which starred James franco in the lead, was appreciated throughout the world.

The two have earlier worked together in Slumdog Millionaire, for which AR Rahman won the Oscars and the Golden Globe as well.
