Kareena Kapoor’s wax statue at Madame Tussauds was unveiled on October 27, and will share space with other Bollywood stars such as Hrithik Roshan, Aishwarya Rai, Amitabh Bachchan, Salman Khan, Shahrukh Khan and Sachin Tendulkar.
Kareena is the 2nd Bollywood actress to find a place at the museum behing Aishwarya Rai Bachchan. Kareena brough her mother, Babita, to the event.
The wax statue is a replica of her when she sang the famous song “Mauja Hi Mauja” from the movie Jab We Met. Kareena became the number one actress with this role, which was later hailed as one of the finest performances from a leading actress in Bollywood.

Kareena starred in over 40 films, the most recent three being in the top five at the Bollywood box office.
Kareena Kapoor’s brand new wax figure at Madame Tussauds Blackpool will be on at Madame Tussauds until January 2012. A special Bollywood room has been created within Madame Tussauds Blackpool just for this special exhibition, which will be the attraction until January, before moving to Bangkok.
Kareena’s figure, which took four months to create at a cost of £150,000, will take pride of place at the new Blackpool attraction alongside other figures from the world of TV, music and sport.
