Oakland Mayor Jean Quan is going to delete her Facebook page, which her staff says has attracted threats, bigoted rants and all-round angry emotions.

“Mayor Quan will be disabling this Facebook fan page. If you would like to contact the mayor’s office, please use (her website),” her staff posted on the page late Thursday.

oohhh poor Jean! She’s having a rough first year in office.
