Holiday celebrations are upon us and Blancpain U.S. Brand President Mr. Adam
Holiday celebrations are upon us and Blancpain U.S. Brand President Mr. Adam Bossi rang in the festivities with the sounds of timeless timepieces and premium electric guitars presented by Guitar Aficionado. Taking place at the Blancpain Boutique on Madison Avenue, last night’s event featured 10 classic guitar pieces along Blancpain’s most recent and notable collections.
The artistry of guitars and timepieces are bonded seamlessly by design, craftsmanship and intricate materials. Displayed at the event were three legendary guitars made in 1953, an Epiphone Emperor with Amp, a Gibson Les Paul Gold top and a 1953 Fender Telecaster. The year 1953 holds special meaning for Blancpain as it is the year in which the brand launched the Fifty Fathoms watch, the world’s first practical dive watch and one of the brand’s most important pieces.
As a special treat and in further demonstrating the organic synchronicity between music and timekeeping, the evening was topped off by The Swatch Group’s watchmaker, Nick Franciosa who took the stage alongside the band to play the saxophone.
Also in attendance to celebrate the art and design of Blancpain watches and fine guitars was renowned luthier Paul Reed Smith as well as Rudy Pensa, author and founder of Rudy’s Music Soho.
