Freida Pinto in the new Rise of the Planet of the Apes trailer

In Rise of the Planet of the Apes, set in present-day San Francisco, James Franco and Freida Pinto are scientists whose experiments with genetic engineering put them on the brink of a medical revolution but also lead to the development of intelligent apes and a war for supremacy.

I hope Freida finally makes an impact in one of these films, so we can continue to see more of her!

The Rupert Wyatt directed film hits theaters this summer on August 5th.
