Watching Jeremy Lin and the New York Knicks defeat the LA Lakers last night was just so entertaining!

All the New York City bars were filled with excitement and it was enjoyable to see so many Asian males coming out to root for this latest superstar!

Since Thursday his Twitter followers have risen by 50,000 to a total of more more 155,000.

The Asian media are so taken with Lin, crowding him at shootarounds and post-game, that they are concerned for his well-being.

During the winning streak, with Lin starting the last three games, he has shot 57.5%. He has scored 114 points (28.5 per game) with 32 assists, 15 rebounds and seven steals.

As we mentioned yesterday, Asian TV partners have added Knicks games to their broadcast schedules.

He managed a career-high 38 points, leading the New York Knicks past the visiting Los Angeles Lakers 92-85.
