Kal Penn just landed a role on ABC’s comedy pilot “Prairie Dogs”. Penn’s character Neil is a drab cubicle worker who has his identity stolen, only to discover the thief created a more exciting life with his identity than he ever could. Neil decides to enlist the con man’s help to turn his life around. “Saturday Night Live” actress Michaela Watson will join Penn in the pilot.
Penn left his role on “House” to work for the Obama administration in 2009, then last year returned to Hollywood. He recently had a recurring role on CBS’ “How I Met Your Mother.”
