\nOver the past two years, Ms. Nooyi\u2019s leadership of the second-largest food and beverage company in the world has been marked by big acquisitions. PepsiCo\u2019s revenues grew 33% last year, to $57 billion, after the company completed the purchase… Read More of its two largest bottlers.<\/p>\n

Ms. Nooyi, 55, bought a controlling interest this year in Russia\u2019s largest food and beverage business, Wimm-Bill-Dann. The deal is meant to expand the company\u2019s reach abroad, where it generates 47% of its revenues.<\/p>\n

Last year, Pepsi lost its rank as the country\u2019s second-most-popular soft drink to diet Coke. But as Ms. Nooyi continues to shift her company\u2019s offerings toward healthier snacks and beverages, the soda wars may not matter so much anymore.<\/p>\n

\nAvon Products Inc.<\/strong>
\nAvon has thrived during Ms. Jung\u2019s dozen years at the helm. These moves helped Avon, which turns 125 this year, generate revenue of $10.9 billion in 2010, a 6% rise over 2009 levels.
