While fellow judge Carrie Ann Inaba isn\u2019t catching as much flak, she defended the others during a visit to Access Hollywood on Wednesday.<\/strong> On the subject of Bono \u2014 who told Good Morning America during a post-elimination interview that he took offense to Tonioli\u2019s referred to him as \u201ca basketball, a penguin, an Ewok,\u201d and thinks the show treats overweight men differently \u2014 Inaba said, \u201cThe scoring has to do with what they\u2019re doing dance-wise. Inaba<\/strong>, who noted there have been a lot of \u201csensitive issues\u201d this season, said she found Bono was treated the same as his other DWTS contestants (adding Tonioli\u2019s comments were not meant to be \u201cnegative or derogatory\u201d) and believes the judges have been \u201cpretty kind in general\u201d this year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

As far as the ongoing battle between Goodman and Chmerkovskiy, Inaba saw it as a \u201cvery awkward moment<\/strong> \u2026 it just taken the wrong way\u201d and reacted to Chmerkovskiy\u2019s declaration that it\u2019s his show. She said with a laugh, \u201cThat is what I came here to say.\u201d<\/p>\n

I love Carrie Ann and all but I think it’s mean how Bruno called Chaz a pequin and an ewok. Not nice!<\/strong><\/p>\n
