Anya Ayoung-Chee is the winner of Project Runway’s ninth season. She is also Miss Trinidad and Tobago Universe 2008 and was a contestant in the Miss Universe 2008 pageant.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Ayoung-Chee is the second title holder in the franchise’s 44-year history to be of Chinese descent, the first being Stephanie Lee Pack in 1974.<\/strong> When asked \u201cIs your Asian heritage an issue since you represent a country with an overwhelming African and Indian heritage?\u201d by missology.org Anya replied, \u201cTrinidad & Tobago is unique in its ethnic make-up because it is a country with people of all races. I am of mixed origin, mainly Chinese, Indian and Caucasian, and although my particular mixture is a minority, I represent the unusual combination of ethnicities that defines us as a people\u201d.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Now, a sextape has surface her ex-boyfriend, Wyatt Gallery, and another woman. Initial reports said the other woman was Miss Japan 2008, Hiroko Mima.<\/strong> However, Gallery has told TMZ and other media outlets that the other woman was not Miss Japan 2008.<\/p>\n

Gallery said the video was stolen from his laptop while it was in a repair shop in Trinidad.<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Yeah sure!<\/p>\n

He told TMZ the video was shot in 2007; however, the Miss Universe organization released a statement that the video was shot \u201ceight months after the pageant\u201d in 2008.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u201cI feel horrible and embarrassed for Anya, her family and myself,\u201d Gallery told TMZ. He suggested that the tape was leaked intentionally to ruin her career.<\/p>\n

Chee, who was praised by \u201cRunway\u201d judges for her Caribbean-inspired designs and ability to craft beautiful clothes on tight deadlines, has acknowledged that a salacious tape starring herself was circulating online.<\/strong> The Trinidadan American admitted on an episode of \u201cAfter the Runway\u201d (also on Lifetime) that the tape had resurfaced and was causing a lot of embarrassment for her.<\/p>\n
