According to the Times of India<\/a>, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was reportedly admitted to SevenHills Hospital in Marol, Andheri, late on last night for the birth of her first child. Although there was no confirmation from the Bachchan family or hospital officials, sources said doctors attending on Aishwarya had induced labour<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

The sources said the Bachchans, including husband Abhishek and in-laws Amitabh and Jaya, went to the hospital on Monday night to get the former Miss World admitted. “There was tighter than usual security on Tuesday and a crowd had assembled outside the hospital to get news of the junior-most Bachchan’s arrival,” the source said.<\/p>\n

The buzz intensified on this evening with claims that Aishwarya was taken into the labour room around 11 am.<\/strong> “The doctors are hoping for a normal delivery,” said the source. However, neither the Bachchans nor the hospital confirmed this.
