\nWho wants a skinny boy with peach fuzz when you can have a beefy man with a five o\u2019clock shadow? An older guy knows how to wear a suit, and his salt-and-pepper hair complements it quite well. While he may have a few wrinkles, they make him look rugged and all the more sexy.<\/strong><\/p>\n

2. They Know What They Want<\/strong>
\nMen of a certain age have dated around enough to know what they’re looking for in a woman. They\u2019re more forthright from the start, saving you the endless hours spent wondering \u201cwhat are we?\u201d and \u201cis this going anywhere?\u201d that are inevitable when you\u2019re dating a relationship rookie<\/p>\n

3. They\u2019re Established<\/strong>
\nWhile the twentysomethings are still couch-surfing and job hunting, men in their mid-thirties, forties and fifties own homes and have long-standing careers.<\/strong> Without the need to prove or establish themselves, older men have more time to dote on you and more money to put toward said doting. <\/p>\n

4. They’re Confident<\/strong>
\nOlder men know who they are and what they have to offer.<\/strong> While everyone has insecurities and doubts, men who\u2019ve lived a bit more tend to have the self-knowledge that a lot of younger guys struggle with. A confident man won\u2019t burden you with ego stroking and will be able to handle the inevitable thick and thin of any relationship.<\/p>\n

5. They\u2019re Good in Bed<\/strong>
\nHaving had plenty of practice, an older man usually knows his way around the female body and communicates well between the sheets. Plus, with less testosterone flying around, they can take it slow, focus on you and hold out longer.<\/p>\n

6. They\u2019re More Mature<\/strong>
\nIt\u2019s common knowledge that women mature much faster than men.<\/strong> While a lot of women in their twenties and thirties are looking for a long-term relationship, most men that age aren\u2019t ready to settle down yet. Having sown their wild oats and dated around, older men are more likely to commit.<\/strong>

9. They Take Vacations<\/strong>
\nYounger men don\u2019t go on vacation very often, mainly because: 1) they don\u2019t have the cash; 2) they can\u2019t take off of work because they still need to impress their boss. An older, established man has both the money and the job security to travel \u2026 and take you along, of course.<\/p>\n

10. They’ll Teach You Stuff<\/strong>
\nOlder men are typically more aware of the world around them \u2014 they\u2019re socially, emotionally and financially experienced and can pass those skills along to you. Plus, they\u2019re great Trivial Pursuit partners!<\/p>\n

Unless you stick to men eight years your senior and older, you will end up in a mommy\/son relationship with your man. Nothing is more of a turn-off than that! The maturity of a man is many years behind that of a woman. Another major plus is that while the bond between mom and son is touching, you’re less likely to deal with a meddling mother-in-law with an older man. If you make the mistake of marrying a domineering woman, just wait until you meet your lovely future mother-in-law. Like mother like daughter. She’ll be running your life and business like no other! : )<\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n
