Fashion\u2019s cognoscenti and glitterati came out last month to Cipriani Wall Street to celebrate Fashion Group International\u2019s annual Night of Stars donning glamorous couture to toast \u201cThe Luminaries\u201d and those who have made a difference last year in the industry.<\/strong> While there was no shortage of celebrities & designers – we spotted Jessica Biel, Oscar de La Renta, Lee Lee Sobieski, Dylan Lauren, Lauren Bush, David Lauren, Francisco Costa, Oliver Theyskens, David Byrne, Lazaro Hernandez and Jack McCollough from Proenza, Laura and Kate Mulleavy from Rodarte, Isabel & Ruben Toledo, during the cocktail hour Asiance had a chance to catch up with one of our favorite designers, Anna Sui!<\/strong> <\/p>\n

Asiance: What are you wearing?<\/h3>\n

Anna:<\/b> All Anna Sui with an Alexander McQueen fur vest.<\/p>\n

Asiance: What markets are you focusing on in Asia? <\/h3>\n

Anna:<\/b> We\u2019re sold throughout Asia – Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Singapore and Malaysia.<\/p>\n

Asiance: What do you think of the fashion over there? <\/h3>\n

Anna:<\/b> It’s amazing. I think there are such devotees to fashion over there. It\u2019s so international and I think that people love dressing up there. It\u2019s a little more formal it\u2019s not as casual as it is here.<\/p>\n
