Local Chefs Compete for Best Chinese Chef Title"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Ten local chefs are competing for the title of <strong>Best Chinese Chef i<\/strong>n <strong>Vancouver, Canada <\/strong>on <strong>January 29 and 30<\/strong> at the BC Foodservice Expo.<\/p>\n<p>Vancouver is known for its outstanding Chinese cuisine outside of the Mainland and the competition will be engaged in multiple rounds of competitions with the quarter-final, semi-final and final rounds of competition carried out in the black box format.<\/p>\n<p>The competing chefs are members of the <strong>Canadian Culinary Federation (CCFCC) <\/strong>and the <strong>BC Chefs Association.<\/strong> Nine teams have been selected to date, based on merit and experience.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gordon Ping Wah Chan<\/strong> of Leung<\/strong> of Grand Dynasty Seafood Restaurant<br \/>\n<strong>Joseph Jiang<\/strong> of The Jade Seafood Restaurant<br \/>\n<strong>Kent Wong <\/strong>of Red Sun Seafood Restaurant<br \/>\n<strong>Chun Lum Ma<\/strong> of Shiang Garden Seafood Restaurant<br \/>\n<strong>Keng Wai Ng<\/strong> of Vivacity Restaurant<br \/>\n<strong>Todd Bright <\/strong>of Wild Rice Modern Chinese
