{"id":12377,"date":"2012-02-20T19:02:28","date_gmt":"2012-02-20T19:02:28","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2012-02-20T19:02:28","modified_gmt":"2012-02-20T19:02:28","slug":"Man-charged-after-running-over-girlfriend-","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=12377","title":{"rendered":"Man charged after running over girlfriend"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Prosecutors say a New Jersey man angry that his girlfriend was trying to break up with him struck her with his car and repeatedly backed over her body.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The Bergen County prosecutor&#8217;s office says 26-year-old Charles Ann is charged with murdering 25-year-old Aena Hong. Both are Fort Lee residents.<\/p>\n<p>Ann was arrested early Tuesday at a friend&#8217;s apartment in Flushing, N.Y. Authorities say he was carrying a large amount of cash and his passport. <strong>They say they believe Ann might have been trying to flee to his native South Korea.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>He&#8217;s being held on $3 million bail.
