CAMERA ACTION&#8230;<\/strong>&#8216; &#038; <strong>&#8216;ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER LIFE&#8217;<\/strong> produced and directed by debutante Rohit Gupta was honored with the &#8216;Best Film of the Festival&#8217; &#038; &#8216;Best Film under 30 minutes&#8217; awards respectively at the <strong>Hot Media International Film Festival (HMIFF) 2012.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The gala awards ceremony was held on Saturday March 31 at the prestigious Capitol Hilton in the nations capital Washington, D.C. &#8220;This is a great honor especially among other nominees that are much larger in scale &#038; scope&#8221;, said the director in his acceptance speech at the awards banquet. ADAL was nominated in the Best Film under 30 minutes, Best Screenplay, Best Director &#038; LCA in Best Actress, Best Screenplay, Best Director, Best Film categories respectively.<\/p>\n<p>&#8216;Our judges unanimously voted for both the films as our festival highlights&#8217;, said June Daguiso, Founder\/Executive Director, HMIFF, at the awards presentation.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;ROULETTE&#8217;<\/strong>, a thriller &#8211; feature by another debutante filmmaker Erik Kristopher Myers picked up seven awards across multiple categories; &#8216;GOD &#038; VODKA&#8217; a short, written, produced &#038; directed by Daniel Stein, walked away with the Best Short Film award at the event.<\/p>\n<p>Life Time Achievement honors was awarded to Filmmaker George Stober &#038; six times Grammy nominated musician F. Steele Henderson. <\/p>\n<p>HMIFF wowed attendees and enthusiasts with award winning musical performances with award-winningGhanaianmusician, singer Koby Maxwell, Debbie Pool and attended by celebs including Connie Lamothe, Al Sutton, Tammy Barboza, Noor Naghmi, Anastasia; host of the Hollywood in Washington D.C among others.<\/p>\n<p><strong>&#8216;ANOTHER DAY ANOTHER LIFE&#8217;<\/strong> has also been announced as the &#8216;Official Selection&#8217; to showcase at the upcoming 10th River Bend International Film Festival 2012 and Spirit Quest International Film Festival 2012 to take place in April in the US.<\/p>\n<p><iframe width=\"420\" height=\"315\" src=\"http:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/-WzFwTRtz7s\" frameborder=\"0\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/p>\n<p>LIFE!
