Known throughout the world for his soft and luxurious cashmere awash in a palette of soft pale neutrals, everything about his collection speaks of refined living, understated elegance, and an appreciation of the finer things in life. A master of philosophy, he carefully weaves his appreciation of beauty throughout his collection. It\u2019s no wonder that the Asian market grasps this Italian master\u2019s soulful collection with standalone stores in Taiwan, Hong Kong and Japan. Standouts from his Spring collection were some of the soft cashmere sweaters, his sueded python jackets & coats, and lizard espadrilles. For me, Brunello Cuccinelli\u2019s presentation is one of the highlights of Milan fashion week that celebrates food and fashion – two of Italy\u2019s greatest assets. To celebrate his Women\u2019s Spring Summer 2013 collection, he transformed his showroom courtyard into an alfresco Tuscan trattoria that was catered by the historic Corte del Sole from Tuscany. Guests were treated to traditional sumptuous regional dishes such as Tuscan steak, Pasta with Porcini mushrooms, tempura vegetables, a selection of truffled farm cheeses and Sangiovese wine made from the estate. It was a perfect setting from a gracious host to showcase a gorgeous collection.
