This is the stunning view from the press lounge for Camera Moda, the organizers of Milan Fashion Week. As we enjoyed a week long marathon of shows, presentations, and parties, the one place we could relax was at the Press headquarters in a 17th century palazzo that overlooks the Duomo and square in the middle of Milan. Unlike NY Fashion Week, the press were treated to catered gourmet breakfast & lunch every day with aperitif snacks and mini sandwiches served until 7pm, along with a barista serving capuccinos and espressos all day as well as a expert sommelier serving sparkling Franciacorta throughout the day. They also provided a shuttle bus to take the press to every show held and a working press room with individual computers, printers & phones and for evening events – an onsite makeup artist.<\/p>\n
