{"id":14505,"date":"2012-11-30T19:12:39","date_gmt":"2012-11-30T19:12:39","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2012-11-30T19:12:39","modified_gmt":"2012-11-30T19:12:39","slug":"Freida-Pinto-heads-jury-at-Dubai-Film-Festival-","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=14505","title":{"rendered":"Freida Pinto heads jury at Dubai Film Festival"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Freida Pinto is heading to Dubai this December as part of the Dubai International Film Festival. <\/strong>She is set to join the jury to select the winner for the <strong>Shorts and Emirati section \u2013 short films from the Arab, Emirati and Asian African countries.<\/strong> This makes Freida the first Indian to be on the judges\u2019 panel at the film festival. She has also been invited to attend a special gala hosted by Academy Award winning actor Colin Firth and his fashion entrepreneur wife Livia to support the annual &#8216;One Night to Change Lives&#8217; charity event to benefit Oxfam and Dubai Cares on December 14th.
