Fans of the K-pop girl group Wonder Girls have been surprised by the sudden announcement of the upcoming wedding of lead singer Sun, perhaps because she refuted those marriage rumors in September through a Twitter message.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In a press statement released this week by her managers, JYP Entertainment, it’s confirmed that she’ll be married on 26th January next year.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Officials from JYPE said that Sun, who’s fronted Korea’s top pop female act for six years, finally expressed her desire to marry her Korean-American boyfriend<\/strong>, and that the other four members of her group gave their full support.<\/p>\n

After the wedding, Sun will devote herself to married life for a time while her bandmates use that chance to pursue their own activities.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Sun, whose name is Min Sun-ye, went public about her relationship last year on the Korean TV talk show Strong Heart, but had until recently denied there was anything more to the love affair.
