Shamed celebrity fashion designer Anand Jon Alexander pleaded guilty in a New York City court yesterday to one count of a criminal sexual act, <\/strong>FoxNews.com reports<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Alexander, who once worked with the likes of Paris Hilton and Mary J. Blige, made the plea as part of a deal with prosecutors so that his victim could avoid having to testify.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The former America\u2019s Next Top Model judge was sentenced to five years for admitting to sexually assaulting a woman he lured with promises of work as a model.<\/strong><\/p>\n

In 2008, Alexander, who professionally goes by Anand Jon, was convicted in a Los Angeles courtroom of sexually assaulting seven women and girls. He is currently serving 59 years to life in connection with the California conviction.<\/p>\n

According to prosecutors, some of his alleged New York victims testified in the 2008 case.<\/strong><\/p>\n
