{"id":15070,"date":"2013-03-06T04:03:07","date_gmt":"2013-03-06T04:03:07","guid":{"rendered":""},"modified":"2013-03-06T04:03:07","modified_gmt":"2013-03-06T04:03:07","slug":"Timothy-Bradley-received-death-threats-after-beating-Pacquaio","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/asiancemagazine.com\/?p=15070","title":{"rendered":"Timothy Bradley received death threats after beating Pacquaio"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>WBO welterweight champion Timothy Bradley said Tuesday he received multiple death threats after beating Manny Pacquiao in a 12-round split decision last June.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Bradley snatched the belt from Pacquiao <\/strong>when two judges scored the bout 115\u2013113 for Bradley and the other had the fight 115\u2013113 in favor of Pacquiao.<\/p>\n<p>    <em>\u201cI didn\u2019t get any credit after the Pacquiao fight whatsoever,\u201d Bradley said, via USA Today. \u201cPeople talked about me and my style, how boring (it is). Some people talked about my wife, talked about my kids. I\u2019ve had some people send me death threats because I won. I had a lot of people say I should give the belt back.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p>Bradley said he did not report the threats to authorities.<\/p>\n<p>Bradley (29-0, 12 KOs) will defend his 147-pound title March 16 against Ruslan Provodnikov (22-1, 15 KOs) of Siberia.
