I think I did pretty good today,\u201d the kid said when his round was over. And if he keeps playing like this, no one else is going to be surprised, either.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Guan, who opened with an even par 72 at TPC Louisiana Thursday, heads into the weekend tied for 57th.<\/strong> Among the big names who failed to make the cut were Keegan Bradley, K.J. Choi and the winner of this year\u2019s Honda Classic, Michael Thompson.<\/p>\n<p>But the teenager is unfazed by it all even though, while nine shots behind the leader, Lucas Glover, he has created the biggest buzz among the galleries this week.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Guan announced Thursday he plans to enter local qualifying for the U.S. Open in Dallas<\/strong> in two weeks but before that, he has other crawfish to fry this weekend.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMaking the cut is one of my goals,\u201d he said. \u201cI\u2019m having fun these couple of days and I hope to play my best and go a little further
